The original code was backed up on the sourceforge site a while ago a few days after, but for some reason (probably my own) was never actually added to...

1. Learn to spell Beginner properly.
2. Learn to code C.
3. Just look at the exampls that are included with KalistOS, if you have had C coding experience and are confident that you should be fine.

If you think about it all distros are the same in the end, if you are an avid linux user it just ends up to be a spin off of your own custom idea of what a distro should be. For example you could install redhat yet install dpkg.

Therefore my favourite OS is either LFS, full control.

Future reference when going to use a floppy on windows...

Download the filesystem utils for
mkfs.vfat

Insert blank disk
mkfs.vfat /dev/fd0
mount -t vfat /dev/fd0 /mnt/<floppy dir>
cp <files> /mnt/<floppydir>
umount /mnt/<floppydir>

First off my inclination is to think that you don't know what your doing since I have never heard of slackware configure thing, all you have to do is find out the make is and compile in module support, load the module then configure alsa or oss or whatever you use. root@caveonmars lucious # lspci 00...

Of course if you were too download an IRC client it would ahve to be compiled for the SH4 arc to be able to run under the dreamcast. Also, X is way too hyped I am happy with just terminal. Just keep it out it will take it when it is thirsty

If that is it I will attempt it.

Is that all the dude is doing?

gentoo need at least 64 mb of ram. to install. and the install would be awefully slow. I would imagine on a P133 that you should run some sort of Debian or Slackware that would be the best choice
