Re: Before this forum dies:
Last visit was: Fri Mar 28, 2008 4:14 pm Hi, I got old. I am a moderator over at Shoryuken.com where I talk about arcade sticks. http://forums.shoryuken.com/profile/8688/Kyle I am still into playing old games. These days I have a real job, plenty of consoles, arcade cabinets, and a four year old kid...

Re: Come Back!!
burnerO I know it's lame to post to a dead thread, but hi. I haven't posted in two years, and I probably won't post again for another two. So what's up? Since the last time I posted, I finished college and am on my second job now working for a Windows web host. I don't really play with conso...

Using CDRecord or any of its frontends, Gnomebaker/K3b, constantly result in coasters for me under the latest Ubuntu (I know, not the l33test of distros). It's irritating because I'd rather be using CDRecord, but Nero is the only thing that I can use without fear. That being said, I believe this mig...

As did I, but the image is created successfully. Older versions of that (bin2boot) didn't generate anything at all.
Hopefully you're able to forgive some of the ugliness of running non-native applications for the tradeoff of it running under Linux.
Further proof that the image is valid.

Re: Vanguard Wars DC Released
As before : There is no image-files yet, since I cannot create them. (A Linux-version of Bootdreams would be great). If you use Bootdreams you can create an imagefile easily. It can be found here : http://www.consolevision.com/members/fackue/ Not to troll the thread (or discredit fackue for that ma...

SBILinux Beta
This may be a tad late, but I've only recently taken to Linux. I was reading a discussion about Selfboot Inducer running under Wine and I thought it worth a shot. I had the best luck getting console apps working, so please gracefully accept this as is. Be forewarned, this is a bash script and doesn'...

Read this and wrote an long-winded rant for another board I contribute to. In a recent article that I came across in Wired News, they reported a study that claimed the pornography was more addictive than crack. While it?s no secret that I?m a pornography enthusiast of sorts, it?s worth presen...

This is coming from someone who installs Firefox on every system they encounter. I tried loading it on a 333mhz before, and the load time was so irritating to the end user that they simply returned to using Internet Exploiter. If people are going to just do that, there at least ought to be some alte...

Re: Book claims Bush used to enjoy cocaine
"George W Bush snorted cocaine at Camp David, a new book claims. His wife Laura also allegedly tried cannabis in her youth. Author Kitty Kelley says in her biography The Family: The Real Story of the Bush Dynasty, that the US President first used coke at university in the mid-1960s. She quotes...

:o could be very powerful if any of our more user-friendly members are willing to help us out with understanding it, in light of their own great tools (burner0, i'm looking at you .. although SBI is a windows program rather than a DC program, and you could always use dreamshell rather than DI..)
