Nice Job. I really do like it. Probably the only one too. It's feekin hard and expensive to get evrything to match up. you had the balls to do it. Congradulations. I can appreciate the style and effect you were going for, and the logo thingy is neat too. keep up the modding. keep the DC alive

I remember someone trying to mod the Game gear screen before. In the end, It is cheaper and less work to buy a LCD screen instead. The game gear screen cal only be used for the game gear, I don't think that it's a regular lcd.

It is a waste of time to try to get a better picture out of the N64. The System was designed to slightly blurr everything so that it will look good on composit vid. Even after you do the RGB mod, the picture is blurry. Your best bet is to emulate the 64 on your computer or use S-Vid for a good pictu...

Where can I find soldering instructions so that My DCwill boot imports at 60hz? There is no point in installing a mod chip If I cant SEE the results.

4 wire mod chip

I'm going to install the 4 wire mod chip into my dreamcast so I can play my Japanes import version of Ikaruga. My question is, will the dreamcast output the game in 60hz mode, or do I have to do some soldering to make imports run in 6ohz mode?
-Thanks

Virtual On is an exellent game. It takes a while to appreciate it. After I bought it I hated it, but after I learned how to play, I realized how awsome the game is. The controlls are way different than the arcade version, but you can buy an arcade style controller for it though (expensive) The coole...

Thanks for responding, but I want to know if it would be possible to run two 12v devices (a fan and hot wirez) off of the one 12v part of the psu. If so, are there any consequences to doing this?

Dreamcast power supply

Is it safe to draw power (3.3v, 5v and 12v at the same time) from the DC's power supply? Is possible to power two 12v devices off of the one 12v slot at the same time? thanks. I'm working on a huge mod, it will take time to accumulate all of the parts, but I should be done by the summer.

if a game doesn't support vga mode, does that mean that it doesn't support RGB mode?

Forcing games into VGA mode

will games that don't work on vga mode be able to work on RGB mode? If not, how do i force the DC to output the game in this mode? Will this forced signal damage my monitor?

Thanks

I strongly agree. It would be so cool to play the mortal kombat series, Or even just the first mortal kombat on the dreamcast. Even If it did't have sound (probably couldn't run very well with sound). I think mortalkombat is a damn good series that could be broken down to run on the DC (The rom file...

KNTain,
Do you have a US version of the game or an import?

...If I can find a link cable for the US version, all I need is two Twin joysticks and I'm set!

Here is a review I found of the Dragoncast VS cable. "For the record, the only games on DC that support the link feature are Ferarri F355, Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram, and Aero Dancing F. Naturally, I don't have Aero Dancing, but I DO have VOOT and Ferarri, so I was able to test the compatibil...

Durring the system development, killer instinct was supposed to be one of the first games to come out for the "Ultra 64." It's a shame that only KI2 was ported to the home console as KI Gold, Which was supposed to have more characters more characters and arenas than the arcade game, but in...

I hated this game with a passion. I always thought that the first one was better because of the more balanced fighting system. I also thought that the music was gay. I finally got good at it (I knew what buttons and combinations I was pressing) and the game is a blast. I still play the first one mor...

Best Buy has all of their games on sale for 50% off. Sears has a lot of games in the bargain bin. If all else fails, you could try Amazon, or http://www.buy.com.

DC games are getting harder and harder to find, what is the deal wit dat?
