i generated a CDI and used alcohol to burn.
and don't forget to read the readme, like dreamer said. (by the way, big thanks to ian and dreamer - my part in this was really pretty minimal)
it's working for you guys, right?

holy crap, it worked, and i didn't even have to worry about MODE anything. here's the SBI file - i had to host it on my friend's site, since i don't really have any of my own webspace, so if it could be moved to sbiffy, that would be great. i'm so proud, contributing to the DC scene. http://www.theo...

BOR mod loader ... SBI?
okay, well, i think i've gone and correctly compiled an SBI of the BOR mod loader, but i figure i ought to ask some questions before wasting a CD-R. first of all - has anybody actually gotten this to work with dream inducer? i know BOR didn't work as an SBI, but i've heard good things about the mod ...

wow, this emu is unbelievably well coded. it turns out any games can be run from any directory at all, including the root directory, and it still loads snapshots from /snap/gg for gamegear and /snap/sms for master system. i didn't even have to put the two different types of roms in different folders...

SMS plus, directories, and you!
okay now. if it's not too much trouble, i'd like some advice on messing around with the directories of SMS plus. you see, i'm using selfboot inducer, and so that whole business of having to browse to the gamegear folder (i don't even use master system), that's just ugly. so i got to thinking - hey, ...

here's a question - what the heck game is SGAsf2 supposed to be used for? the documentation implies the original SF2 (which didn't work), but the pictures suggest SF2 alpha (which i haven't tried). sorry for posting on this topic, but it's the only relevant thing i've seen in a while and i've been m...

it...doesn't seem to be working... it's farther than i got; i.e. it doesn't pull a segagen and simply restart selfboot inducer when i select it, however, i just get a black screen. after reading some of the emulator documentation, this seems to suggest i don't have a bios, which i do. i have no idea.

is there some sort of holdup in releasing an sbi for NeoCD version 4 or 5? CG put up sbi for versions 2 and 3 on his site last week, and left a post promising to have v4 up the next day, last friday, but has been a mystery since. i tried making one myself and it didn't work, which leads me to believ...

this will probably get modded, but i am so curious...
is it even possible to make a segagen sbi? i've been trying for a while now, with no results, and i've been wondering if my efforts have been in vain.
yes, i know i'll lose my account over this, but i figure this is the last question i really need answered. please.

i have faith that we will at least see one final version that fixes the mario rpg / tetris attack bugs, at the very least. we probably won't see it until the team finally throws in the towel, but once they do, i could see them having the courtesy to give us v.0.9.9 as a signoff. we probably won't ge...

tetris attack
is there any way to get Tetris Attack working with DSnes v. 9.8, now that they've gone and screwed up the territory lockout bypass? i know this sort of griping normally isn't allowed on this board, but you'd think that after a year and a half they'd at least grant us a release that fixes the two tin...
