Hey not bad at all. It reminds me of the monster off of resident evil:code veronica, that one that used to grab you by the head and shake you about, I guess its the vein things around his body that does it :D

The settings are saved in the DC's memory at least as far as I know. If I were you though I would at least check, just make sure everything is set up the same as planetweb.

Great news on your progress so far Blue, especially on the speed up, that should make testing a little easier at least. Let us know if you make anymore advances, this is a really interesting emulator.

http://www.divx-digest.com is also a useful website, its where I go for stuff like that.

I think there was a DvD player mod being made for the dreamcast (hardware) but it got canelled in the end. Dont know if it was official Sega or not though.
