Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

The way I see it (from my ignorant perspective of course)... First off, for the record I didn't call you ignorant, I called your statement of 'picking something and promoting it' to be ignorant of how much we do promote on a regular basis. That was just sarcasm Dan. But ask yourself this - is it ig...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Target platforms: Win32, Sega Dreamcast, Xbox, Gamecube, PSP, GP2X, Pocket PC, SymbianOS, Smartphone and Gameboy Advance. I wouldn't worry about the game claiming to be on it's way for Dreamcast. http://www.radium-game.com/screens/ppc/screen01.png http://www.radium-game.com/screens/ppc/screen07.png...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

The way I see it (from my ignorant perspective of course), there is information out there, that information (no matter how sporadic) might possibly be a millstone around the neck for GOAT, and GOAT Store Publishing in particular. Take a look at the Radium site for example, the announcement about th...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Your point on hot linking (I belive that is what adding a url to text is called), was very solid. I always found it odd that their wasn't a link to any of the GSP titles website ESPECIALLY Maqiupai cause the official website is on http://www.goatstore.com/maqiupai I'll stand up right now and admit ...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

There isn't much point in talking about things that didn't happen. Sure, the page would be more complete, but it could also sound like they were using DCastle to promote Irides - which would be equally unfair, since DCastle didn't came out. On the other side, by removing the mention of Irides the o...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Basically from what I gather Dreamer is asking about why a game called DCastle wasn't released. Dreamer your a nice guy, just calm down a bit, and try proceeding with the discussion in a healthier way, stop cursing yourself or anyone else. I am personally more concerned about this fellow over here:...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Sorry to reply to my own post here but I don't know why I didn't think of this initially... Regardless, the plan is to set up a better rig for taking screenshots and things like that in the not-too-distant future with the GOAT Store, and we are planning on doing some videos at that time and putting ...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Being an ignoramus who can't string together a constructive comment, I'll leave this topic with this: Why GOAT Store as a publisher? I again offer that if you have any constructive criticism, we're open for it. As for this, I might as well reply to it... thanks for the reply! now I know that you ha...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Hey I just found out that the limited edition of Irides doesn't have a soundtrack CD. Irides was critically praised for the tunes, and it is a conventional norm for them to have sound track disk's with limited ediiton, why did you decide against it? Nope, it's built into the standard release, somet...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

The Irides video is actually the iPhone version of the game, I think the FoF video is pretty funny -- I like how they keep showing Player 2 during the gameplay which is the computer -- but it really isn't a huge review of the title. Regardless, the plan is to set up a better rig for taking screensho...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

So what you are saying here is you have dabbled with some tools but have not exploited them to the same capacity as RSG. Sure, and others we've exploited far better than them. There are only so many hours in a day, and you have to pick and choose what battles you fight. Using methods that do not ge...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Putting back a few Wikipedia pages is only the beginning Dan, let us look at the basic facts here: A quick visit to the RedSpotGames site and RSG has twitter, RSG has facebook, RSG has flickr, RSG has YouTube, RSG has ebay, now let's round it all off with Social Bookmarking and an RSS feed. Exactly...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

My mistake was that by publicly canceling that game I've hurt Dan, the GOAT Store and the whole community much more than I could ever hurt that guy. I should have eliminated him from the team as soon as I could but I had no experience to know when it was too soon and when it was too late. I didn't ...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Danny as I am trying to tell you it is the references that determine, what is noteable and what isn't, look: This is the FOF Deleted Page: http://deletionpedia.dbatley.com/w/index.php?title=Feet_of_Fury Their is no argument that of any homebrew or inde release of this decade has to be the premiere ...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

We try to keep Wikipedia a reliable source of history, it is an open encyclopedia anybody can put anything they want, somebody may very well edit Pakistani history and write our president was George W. Bush, to stop these shenanigans new/unknown information requires multiple reliable references. If...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

HOLD ON A TICK, you’re missing the background here completely. As Dreamer has explained to you, wiki is controlled by anyone who wants to and while I wasn’t as much of a wikipedian back when the pages got deletion started to gain momentum but what had happened was unreleased games such as Age o...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

There appear to have been two things that people interperted differently than I intended when I wrote them, and this is one of them... I think that puzzle games are hard to sell. And $22 plus shipping (resp. €26 plus shipping for W&W) is more than most people are willing to pay for a puzzle ga...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Thanks for the post Dan, very interesting indeed. Oh geez, this will be interesting...

Re: Goat Store Publishing's Future Plans

Hey all, As some people know, I try to drop in from time to time to read the latest goings-on with the Dreamcast community and was curious to see how this announcement was received. Interesting points all. I'm going to be a little more honest with some counterpoints to everyone here than I have been...

Re: R4 Sold Out

I also sent you an email, but here is some quick points: 1) Even if we might have done a run of 5000 copies of Feet of Fury or any of our games, who is to say that we didn't do a subsequent re-press of those titles? 2) Also, I can honestly say right now that the 5000 number isn't correct for how man...
