4 player games

what 4 player games are there for the nes ?

none as far as I know...

the reason is because the original nes had only 2 controller ports, so all the nes games (and consequently all the roms) were designed with that limitation in mind. Whether some hacked games exist which allow 1-4 players I don't know. NesterDC and FrNES for the DC only have 2p supprt so 4 player NES on the DC is out of the question.

Yes...I'm quite happy that Nester finally has 4 player support. When I fired it up last night, it brought back memories of me bringing home Super Spike V'Ball, the multitap, and two new controllers from ToysRUs. Ah...those were good times
