VERSION 2 is out some time this night with the screen fixed nice filter smoothing the grafix all games are fullspeed with sound off there about right with it on... some are little slow but many more games to try then be fore
new games supported thats it for now but perfect screen postion and res now and the new games will make it worth geting
DO you mean that your next version of your emu is gonna be out any minute now?
There will be a delay my nice intro takes up to much memory so i have to take it off the emu very much a shame it was nice
THE new version has these feature's

Some of the fix's like the video mode are now fixed i could not stand the buzzing ticking now its gone if it does start up on a game some times
its due to the last game dirtying it so if you have a fav game select it first
the FM voices are harder to hear and not over loud now so 2 sound problems fixed
this version is a lot better but im making sure its got less problems then the first
so im delaying the release for a little bit

Not all the games on the list work but they dont on mame36 16 ether as i added some more games all the one's that worked before still work
and some new games plus all romsets of the same game like set 1 2 3 now are there to try
some of the newly support games have major problems and it will take porting the new mame system 16 driver to my source base
to fix it not a small task!
IM quiet happy with beta 2 its really nice! im sure you will be to
just some final bug testing then it will be out ive mad progress faster then i thought i would
sound is not the same as before its more mono but is cleaner and has no clock tick so its much nicer ! im happy happy i fixed it
OK was trying to fix one bug in the bilinear filter dont know if people really want that makes it look to smooth to me GOES to sleep lol
Good thing now as ive got it about the same speed sound on or off
dont know if any one has pick up this bug after you load about 5 games some times less the next game does not work
so if one game does not work clean reboot the emu and try it
seem i have a memory leak ahh! this is in both versions
it will not affect any one that starts the emu from new after about 3 games tryed i mean new ones after you go back to the rom selection screen
some of the new games are looking like there table tops or some wierd type and need dip switch setting and i can do that or you would break the rest to play a few
so there looking like single games

System16 has Yamaha FM sound and an NEC ADPCM chip for digital samples.
Reaper: When the Mame crew release their new fully working System16 driver will you re-compile your emulator using them? I would say that with the new drivers we could use the romsets from the latest version of Mame?
How long until Beta 2 is released? I want to try it, but don't want to waste a CDR on Beta 1 when beta 2 is (hopefully ) just around the corner
EDIT: Just realised how idiotic this post was. I hate people that do this for all other emulators, so why did I do it for this one? Maybe I lost consciousness ?_?
OK well i can put this one out now and still work on it i guess for version 3
its not worth burning version 1 with this one is coming out i agree
IT takes over 6 mins to compile it every time so its pretty slow when you make a small mistake here and there and have to then compile it burn it test it = about 14 mins per try thats pushing it lol

I have to say this thou both are very much not the same
1 has better sounding sound but has a ticking sound 2 has more AM radio sounding sound but not ticking sound
1 has the screen chopped off at the bottom 2 has perfect screen placement etc
both are fullspeed when you turn sound off both are fully playable with sound on with 2 player's on some games

Didn't you mention that AfterBurner was also supported in another topic? That version of Mame supports Turbo Outrun? I did know that? I thought it was not emulated by MAME due to the encryption used on the Turbo Out Run rom board.
Nice work! THe emulator is actually faster than full speed sometimes without sound! With sound it is not full speed of course, but definitely faster than Beta 1. I forsee this emulator becoming full speed with sound if this keeps up
It is possible that in your next version you incude SYSTEM 8(I think that we can found just 2 games but very very very good games=WONDERBOY 1 and PITFAL).
