Any Dreamcast fans for sale?

Post by MidnightObsidian »

I was wondering if any of you hardware guys happened to have an extra dreamcast fan lying around somewhere that you wouldn't mind selling. Name your price.

(I've recently become very annoyed with how loud my Dreamcast is whenever it's powered on; the thing sounds like a wind tunnel. I don't know how a fan so small is causing so much noise, but it is.)

Thank you!

This is the first post in years from you, welcome back. I have one, would it be okay if I just shipped it in an envelope? I'm not really sure how much I should charge though, does $5 shipped sound good?

I don't think I really visited hardware when he was here. I looked through his old posts too, he figured out it is not the laser that holds the ability to read gds. He replaced his dc's laser with a pin compatible cdrom laser and it worked.

Pretty cool stuff.

Heh, hey guys. Thanks.

Sorry I haven't been around. College, work, and my girlfriend are having a very definite impact upon my free time. I really hope to come back every once in a while, but god knows when I'll be able to do that.

I'm tired and my girlfriend is calling me. Time to go bum around her place. Take care, guys.

I also desperately need a dc fan or 2. I looked on NMB's site (the company that made the dreamcast fans) for the Dreamcast fan model 1204KL-01W-B49 but they had B30, B40, and B50. I'm totally lost on what to buy, and also it looked like they were double wire fans and not tripple, so they wouldnt have the sensor wire, thus would not work on dreamcast. It's even more depressing how these fans dont last very long before they crap out, and then I am unable to play my favorite console in the world. I dont even want these crap fans in there! I wanna use my own.
