And now for NeoDCv1!

This forum is for discussion pertaining to homebrew and indie software for the Dreamcast, such as homebrew games, emulators/interpreters, and other homebrew software/applications. Porting requests and developmental ideas are not to be made here; you can make those here. If you need any help burning discs for homebrew software, this is the place to ask as well.

PAL users should definetly pick this up as it offers more significant improvements for them, but the screen stretching fix should be enough for anyone

Hope you all like it.

Does the source for C68k not exist because I cant find it in the Source D/L only the object files? I was interested in having a look.

No thats the bit of code that replaces the musashi interface with the C68K one.
There is a header file for C68K but no code.

Though on closer inspection neither the 9.3 or 9.2 source distributions included it either.

I'm not IM. I called it v1 so that people don't think Ian is back. I plan on releasing at the very least one more version. As for sound effects it specifically says on the download page for it that there are no sfx, but that it is actively being worked on, because i know why there arent (as opposed to previously where it was "a mysterious bug").

yea, i didnt go out of my way to find the c68k sources (my computer for some reason cannot compile them). Remember it takes over 512mb of ram to compile the sources.

also has anyone tried any homebrew neo geo cd?

I found one @ http://www.pdroms.de/file_details.php?fn=1198

and made an iso of it and it boots in the older PC version of NeoGeo SDL .31, was wondering if anyone has tried it on the dreamcast? or if they know of anyother homebrew links?

You need discs as you would have for the actual system. it will not read iso/mp3 or iso/wav combinations.

Probably not. The emulator doesn't actually read the disc - it reads the files off the disc.

I tried it out and it works fine in the dreamcast. Just had to make a couple of changes to the code to get it to compile with a kos 1.3 and newer toolchain.
