PS3 required to play Riiiiidge Racer on PSP
The new 3.00 firmware is out and the Playstation emulator is now available. This was a feature many people were excited about, but now it appears that most of us will still have to wait to use it. In order to use the feature, you must connect your PSP to your PS3, then access the store on the PS3 and use it as an access point to transfer the game back to your PSP. This whole process sounds convoluted and will pretty much make the PSX emulator useless for a whole lot of people.
Anyway, if you are interested, here is the FW 3.00 manual that explains the whole thing.

Man oh man, I despise SonicStage. I have I MiniDisc player that I record live concerts on, and I've lost major chunks of my live recordings because of a feature that allows you transfer music from a portable storage device to your PC only once. If something went wrong during the file transfer, that was it... you couldn't transfer again.DaMadFiddler wrote:What? Sony is making it absurdly difficult to move your content around? Most Pal territories are screwed over by this untill next March, business as usual for a large company then I guess. Good thing we arent dependant on $ony release schedules for our emulation on PSP needs eh? if those PSX emu's hit a decent level before the PS3 launchs everywhere else (or just becomes available due to restocking for those of you in the US etc..) $ony are gonna lose out big time
theres no-one else to blameThe Prisoner - Makes NGE's ending look almost intelligible.

I love minedonnonotin wrote:Xbox 360 games arn't very fun and I never play mine.
Perfect combination IMO is the Wii+360 (if you can afford it, otherwise just go with the Wii). With the Wii you get all those exclusive and unique games, witht he 360 you get more of some of the older stuff, but many of them are still fun. This way, you don't have to put up with the crap Sony will try to force in your mouth (unless you absolutely have to play gran turismo, final fantasy, and all those other games like that).
