This just gets more and more stupid; it's bad enough that twice now we've lost all the forums' threads*, without this act of cluelessness (word?)
BOB_LORDOFEVIL_2001 alone has posted lots of useful info here, let alone all the other ppl that have too.

* I can't believe that a new layout and a couple of less than vital features was worth scarificing months and months of discussions, information and viewpoints.

ARGH! And of course these are the only hardware mod forums dedicated to the DC!

DCVision has a hardware mod forum for all consoles, but no one seems to use it :(

Sorry people I have been quite busy due to excessive school work. So Sonic Rage X did this? Damn that pisses me off!!! We have had too much crap like this happen. First we move forums 2 times and now SRX decides to take out his anger on the fourm by deleting as many posts as he can!!! He should apologize or something. There were lots of valuable instructions there!!!

Yes it was who you say it was. He had an angry 'final' post in the staff forum where he admits his plans. He doesnt explain exactly what made him mad eather (N64 emu news? Things in IRC? what?)

Why he would want to hurt/anger others I'm not sure. Not like the person he was angry at used this (or any actually) forum regularly.

Shadow Of Bob. Your the mod here right? Well I'd suggest/request that you go through the old forums and pick out some of the more important post/topics and move them here similar to how I moved some of the topics in QuakeDev. I dont think 007 is going to (or is able to) transfer the post like he'd planned. (link is avalible in the staff forum)

I'd do it... but I'm not the mod here and I may not have the best eye for what should and should not me moved.

As for Ajay's comments on not understanding why the change... I'm not sure it's worth it eather... 007 should have (at minimum) left up both the old forums as an archive and just not allowed new post. The OLD old forums had TONS of important info... both the old forums were getting messy though. Some serious house cleaning would have been nice (I.E. remove all the long spam, flame filled, or otherwise useless and outdated threads.) but it would have taken awhile. (expecially the main and Off topic forums) And some people would have still complained about this or that thread getting deleated.[/quote]
