So like a year ago, before I really knew anything about game development, I wanted to install the KOS toolchain and build some simple stuff, just to see if it could be done. I didn't have a coders cable, but I thought I would just see if KOS would build... and error after error (I didn't follow the guide correctly) so I gave up and started developing on Unity for the next year.
What a mistake that was. After a revelation from God a couple weeks ago, I switched back to Linux, and then remembered how badly I wanted to make a game for my most beloved console. Well, tonight, with BlueCrab's extensive help (haha) on my first try I built KOS successfully, loaded up 2ndmix (by Dan Potter), burned it to a disk (boy was that confusing) and it booted on my Dreamcast first try! I'm so happy I could cry! And I did a little bit. Haha.
Hopefully I will be making some cool games and various things for the Dreamcast, and thanks for having me here guys!
