Anyone got any Skate videos to share?

Post by Skynet »

This is probably the best line I've done on this level because I've only just opened it.
http://skate.share.ea.com/profiles/3089 ... 34199.aspx

Most of the videos I've been mucking around with uploading are just crashes and stuff, but I thought this line was half decent. Not entirely sure how much it was worth but it wasn't the best line I've done in the game though.

Also, anyone know of a way to grab those videos and convert them to mpg or avi or something? I'd like to be able to upload them to youtube or something once I upload some good videos.

I had this amazing trick that I pulled on the PS3 version. I uploaded it before I sold off that version (due to horrible framerate problems), but it never appeared on their site, so I guess it's lost forever. Well, technically not forever, since it still resides in a save file on my PS3, but I'll probably never have the PS3 version of Skate again so the file is useless.

You probably have javascript disabled. It happened to me also but once I enabled javascript it went to the right page.

Nope it's not that. I checked in the options for Firefox. I did enter it in IE and the same thing happened. This is my computer at work so I don't have complete control over it. Maybe it's something out of my hands.

I think you need to select a language, once you have and it's saved your settings it should work. I'll try it in IE on my PC, as I don't use it at all, and say what happens.

EDIT: Yeah, select your language then once it's loaded the default page, just click the link again.

Also, I really need to change my Live tag because I spelt Skynet wrong  I just don't want to pay to do it.

Oh yeah, that's what it was. I was thinking it had something to do with javascript. Probably does but not in this case.

I do know that IE was reporting the javascript having errors for me, if that's any use to anyone.

I really want to play this game, but I don't have access to a 360. My only hope (for now) is that it might eventually come to PC...(doubt it)

Well I got to watch the video. It's pretty cool I guess. You got any good ones that aren't inside skateparks? I was really hoping the video editor would be better than it is. It's pretty lame how the camera has to revolved around the character. I only played a bit of the demo though so maybe the full version is different.

Not really, just some videos of my character getting hit by cars and stuff

I had this one cool video where I was coming down from a trick in a bowl, about to land it but an NPC skater hit my board from under me with his hand and I bailed. Wicked video but my brother deleted it :x
