I believe it was around 2004 or 2005 master coder Yuji Naka revealed one last secret of the Dreamcast with his puzzle game Puyo Puyo Fever where he revealed that you could change the Dreamcast Menu skin.
It spurred a lot of discussion in our forum but did anyone every get around to making skins or anything?
What happend to changin the Dreamcast Menu skin?

Its true, it was kind of a final gift to the Dreamcast independent scene from Sega, but it didn't get used as much as they probably expected it to.
At least thats my assumption on why they did it.
