Best advice I can give you is go without it for awhile. Try to find a new activity to fill the void for awhile; you could just need a little bit of a break. All your games will still be there when you get back.

Microsoft doesn't discriminate against people who want to give them money; Arcade games come out for both Gold and Silver. As for the retail question, unless you get a deal with a live camera or something, the price is the same. Check cheapassgamer.com for deals though; you may find something.

Those are the only necessary Wii games, IMO. If you really want a Wii, get one now, but if you can live without one I'd wait until there are more games out and the supply is greater.

I think you're stretching it a bit with "critical and commercial" success. It didn't flop completely, but it didn't do well enough to warrant working on a sequel right away.
