Honestly, I think the fear that mccain might not live long enough to finish his term, and palin might run the country is what really tanked the mccain campaign.

It was obvious they wanted a woman in order to take the clinton supporters away from obama, but a smart move would have been to pick condi rice. She is a genius, well respected in the international community, as well as domestically, and she is black. She was a perfect female running mate for mccain. They really dropped the ball.

You know, I forgot about Condi. I was advocating perhaps picking Kay Hutchinson instead. But Condi would have been even better.

- Regarding Palin: I agree that Condolezza Rice probably would have been a very good candidate. I don't know much about her political vision but I have a huge respect for her as a political person. If I would have been in the position I probably would have proposed her as candidate - not McCain.
