I went with NesterDC SE simply because it's the only one in the list that I've had a chance to try.
I really have no interest in any of the Neo emus, as I never had any Neo systems, and never played any of the games that were available for them.
I didn't even realize there was a newer version of SMS Plus (shows how much I pay attention).

NesterDC SE, it's the most amazing emulator I've ever seen.
However I haven't tried the others because I don't have anything special with those consoles, I'm a NES fan.

Tough one:
SMSplusDC is great. Some of the most important flaws of the first release have been straightened out and it's been great to see Heliophobe back
NesterDC SE is absolutly fantastic and probably will become my favorite DC emulator in the long term. Big thanks to Scherzo for taking the time to improve the menu and compatibility - and for creating the database!
Neo4All/CD is very impressive, but what really blew my mind in 2005 was Neo4All/AES! I never thought that something like Storm Troopers that's much bigger than the DC RAM could be loaded on demand - and run perfectly!
Definitly the emulator of the year.
