[UK] 360 Universal Media Remote & HD DVD Drive, £20

Post by sixteen-bit »

Just a heads up, Gamestation are currently flogging their remaining 360 HD DVD drives for 20 quid (£25 with 2 discs £8 or less). The retail pack itself also includes the universal media remote.

The drive is quite worthless but:
-The included media remote is pretty useful and would cost you £20 anyway
-HD DVDs are often cheaper than normal DVDs.
Might be worth a punt IMO.

I grabbed the HDDVD drive for nearly the same price in AU dollars a few months back. Got myself about 14 HD movies in total. The drive with King Kong was $50 Au and I spent a further $100 or so on 13 more movies. In some cases the DVD version of the movie was up to $30 more. I got the Bourne trilogy for $8 and on DVD each go for $20-$30 or something stupid, depending on where you buy it.

Haha, damn, good deal. Over here, these still go for £5 - £10 each.

Hasney wrote:Just got it. I noticed, the deal on the website is £30 with three discs, but most of the good films are sold out on the website. I'd much rather have The Bourne Supremecy and The Big Lewbowskin than Scropion King, 2 Fast 2 Furious and 2 Fast 2 Furious Tokyo Drift.
I got the The Big Lebowski for $9
